Happy Valentine's Day!

Readers, enjoy the rest of your day.

"We" haven't planned anything out of the ordinary this year. Dinner, some Moscato, a movie, that's it. I didn't get him anything (terrible, I know) so I have to make up for that somehow...

Have a good one!

Cohabitating: Basketball Has Become The Bane Of My Existence

People, I need your help.

It has been about 5 weeks since I moved to Chicago (as most of you know). In that time, nothing important has happened.

Living together has been relatively easy going. Well, except for one thing which will become a huge problem if we don't find a resolution soon.

I just need to understand how the rest of you in similar situations deal with this.

Alpa Chino's love of sports is going to make me plan an attack on ESPN headquarters one day. So, I am turning to those of you who may have more experience to help me out.

Stop Settling. It Is Wrong (and Stupid).

For the marriage hungry...
Yes, yes, all of you have seen this blog post about "Folu" a woman who is marrying a man she is not in love with or even attracted to.

I debated whether or not to write a blog post in response because I can be a bit...what is the word..."brash" when it comes to sensitive issues like this.

I have little patience for women like Folu and only involve myself in an attempt to make sure I learn from their experiences and avoid repeating their mistakes.

Today fellow blogger, Taynement, asked if what Folu did was settling. My answer, hell yes.

What was not asked was the rightness or wrongness of what Folu wants to do. That is, consign herself to a loveless marriage to a "good" man.

Kim Didn't Want To Be Married Anymore: Thank God We Have Divorce!

Folks, I am all for divorce when necessary. There are people who CLEARLY should not be married and can end up doing more harm than good to each other when they stay together.

So, with my "open minded" view on divorce, I decided to watch this season of "Kourtney and Kim Take New York" (KAKTNY) to find out what happened between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries.

I tuned in every Sunday to watch the show so I could see what "irreconcilable differences" led to the end of their 72 day marriage.

Readers, I have only been left more confused.
