This is a trait that is annoying to the people around me. Whenever its time to watch a movie and suggestions are made, I've usually already watched the movies in question. I don't have a preference for genre but I am not lying when I say I can literally waste an entire weekend in front of a TV or laptop watching movies.
On weekends, Alpa Chino and I like to browse the On-Demand options on cable to see what there is to watch. He always tries to find a movie that neither of us has seen but it nearly always proves to be impossible. In fact, sometimes we think we have found a "new" undiscovered movie but then a few minutes into the movie I realize that I have already seen it and this usually leads him to sigh in disgust. With that said, here is a list of movies released between January 1st and July 31st of this year that I have seen so far.
If I haven't seen the movie, it probably came out in limited release and was not advertised widely. Either that, or the movie did not spark the least amount of interest in me and as you can see, I'll watch almost anything.
I think I have no life. Yes indeed.
Interestingly enough, I have heard that Avatar is being re-released in theaters with "unseen" footage. What happened to simply putting all that stuff on DVD? Isn't it already the best selling movie of all time? Why does it need another run at the theaters? James Cameron na wah for you oh!
