E-Thugging...Why Can't You E-Argue Properly?

I'm all for honesty and having an opinion but I am also all for T-A-C-T and some of you are just not familiar with that word.

The unfortunate issue here is that some people just don't know how to e-argue. I'm talking about the people who bring a bazooka to a knife fight when it comes to exchanging words. The sort of people who have a scorched earth policy when it comes to arguments. (Like the military references?)

I see these people a lot on sites like Facebook and Twitter, they're so quick to toss out insults when a "discussion" is going on. Just today I saw examples of these people on this post at Jaguda.com. To me, that kind of behavior is a sign of immaturity. But then, maturity is not a pre-requisite for using the internet and there are e-thugs every where you go online.

I feel as if I've been slacking with blogging.

Good news, I'm leaving my job at the end of the month.

Bad news, I haven't found a replacement job.

Is this risky? Clearly!

Am I worried. Not yet...I probably should be though!

In other news, this past weekend was my birthday weekend. I didn't do anything to celebrate really. I stayed home, watched a whole lot of TV, did some homework, etc. It was very uneventful.

Because of my relative joblessness over the weekend, I went on a Top 40 music scavenger hunt.

Non-Profit Details

Also, for those of you that are wondering, or not, the non-profit is set to "launch" soon.

ISERA is the name of the organization (thanks if you voted). The website is still under development, but the Twitter account and Facebook page are all set. The general mailbox address is info@serainstitute.org. There is even have a WePay page setup to collect donations for the scholarship.

I would like to write "briefly" on the idea behind the "EDJ character" that I am on this blog.

It has come to my attention that those of you that know me in "real life" may not be aware that I do not want my "real" self connected to this blog. So, please consider this appropriate notice.

Friends, lend me your ears. PLEASE do not use my real name in any spoken conversation, Facebook commentary, IM messages, BBM chats, Tweets, or any other form of communication, that would connect "me" with EDJ/Ego Du Jour.

I am truly not blogging for fame and fortune--believe me. If I wanted to become some sort of celebrity from this site, I would use my real name and put myself out there so that everyone would know who I was and they could then stop me on street corners and ask me random questions at Nigerian parties. (To be honest I rarely attend Nigerian parties but I assume that is how it would be).
