Impending Apocalypse Or Not, I Look Forward To 2012

Once again another year draws to a close. I blogged a lot less this year than last year, I just realized this looking at my archives. Only one post in November?! *hides head in shame*.

Thanks to everyone who read and commented here. Although, due to a mishap in June, I lost almost all my comments from August 2009 to June 2011, I am glad that you all visited and shared your thoughts over the year.

I hope 2012 is a good year for everyone and starts off great! I have things to look forward to, and I know a lot of you do as well.

There are a few things I want to accomplish in 2012, mostly with my career and education. I guess you could say that my New Year's resolution is "Be Better". I know I can always put "more" into everything I do so I plan to do that next year. "Everything" includes blogging, and getting my little project up and running.

Thank you for a great 2011! See you in 2012!

Happy ChristmaHanuKwanzakah

Happy holidays everyone!

I shall be doing last minute Christmas shopping as every year I somehow end up waiting until right before the holidays to buy gifts.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Money Can't Buy Happiness? Or Can It?

"People" say money cannot buy happiness. I want to know, WHY not?

This came up when I discussed my future plans with someone from my old old job (not the one I left this summer). I was explaining my "plans" for the future and she basically told me to "adjust" my plans.

I will not get into how some people set low expectations for themselves and others, that is for another time.

As a person of generally average means, I cannot understand why "money" would not make me happier. Mind you I say "average" because I am counting my money that I have earned, not money that my parents earned or will leave to me.

Who said "money can't buy happiness"? Who came up with that?

Cohabitating: When Two Decide To Find An Apartment

I originally planned to write a post that was basically going to be about why money is good.  However, that will have to be for next time. Perhaps over the weekend.

Who am I kidding? This weekend I probably won't have time, but I will try.

As some of you may have noticed, I have been a bit absent. Mostly because this whole moving thing has had some twists recently. Well, one twist.

Sidenote: Packing up your life for a move this huge is kind of a pain in the a**.
